I second that!
Goal: get it done doing as few burpees as possible.
ENJOY!
7:30 crew-
Hope you are in for this tonight!
Who is doing the 5K next Sunday?
Posted by: J9 | March 05, 2010 at 05:12 AM
Pat-
I also had WOD anxiety the night before this one.
Kept dreaming that I was wasting time looking back in my notes to remember what exercise came next...
Posted by: J9 | March 05, 2010 at 05:17 AM
I hope to be in tonight!!!!!

J9 - We are doing the 5K.

Do not allow yourself to become agitated by what is written on the board.
Calm your mind and you will see clearly, the solution to the task before you.
Uguay out... Happy Friday!

Coach,
Noticed you mentioned 'The Menace' yesterday. When is that one going to be back on the board? That was the toughest wod I have ever done. I'm not looking forward to that one.
For the AF wod, I'm just glad it starts with Thrusters instead of ending that way.
Wife and I will see you later.

it's the burpees that are the killer today! glad it's over.
Cate, welcome to the shed. Hope to work out with you soon.

McCoy and I are in for the 5K. (my first!) I have no comment on the Air Force WOD, other than I'm glad it's over.
Posted by: Shannon | March 05, 2010 at 12:23 PM
Have fun with the 5K, a little too cold for me yet.
@Shannon - great job today!

Maria-no note required. This time around, the burpee challenge lost a bit of luster. I would venture to guess that less than 5 shedheads are in it. Thinking about putting the kibosh on it!
Posted by: Pat | March 05, 2010 at 01:52 PM
I was faithfully doing my burpees daily until last week. The numbers are getting too high and I fell behind. I did 150 last night to catch up, but I'm still not where I need to be.
Posted by: Cheryl | March 05, 2010 at 03:17 PM
Maybe we could modify the challenge.
Give us this day our daily burpees?
A certain number each day for the rest of the days....

J9, the "ear of corn" and I are going to be speed walkin' the 5K!
Lori, hope you had a great birthday yesterday!

You know what I love about my job? I get to train with firebreathers, which humbles me greatly... and I get to witness the amazing efforts and transformations of our athletes every day.
Great job today Gary, Keith, Jim, Colleen, Shannon and Adriana. And welcome to the shed Uncle Pete!
Posted by: Pat | March 05, 2010 at 08:21 PM
i'm jumping back into the challenge at whatever day it is when my back is better...without making any up. i get to make my own rules since i'm so far away.
