SvW-
We expect to see a shot of you in-action while in AZ. Isn't that the rule - you have to get your pic on an Affiliate's site that you visit?
Much easier for a female - but wear your SKINS and you should be good to go. What a great experience you will have on the road.

SvW--Here's the link to the gym I worked out at while in Phoenix:
http://www.corecrossfit.com/
Speak with Tom, Adrian, or Kim (actually anyone there). Mention you work out with Greg, JRidgewood, or Johnny Rifleman and they will remember me. I would also sometimes workout while wearing a hockey mask so if name recognition fails mention that.
I still train at the shed but do to circumstances beyond my control I (and my cute little red car) have unable to attend as of late. I am still training and did the main site WOD yesterday, and I am sore. Everywhere. Have a good trip if I don't see you. If you have the time check out Squaw Peak recreational area--great hiking within the city limits. Take care. JR

Johnny Rifleman?? LOL
will you make an appearance at the Shed in the hockey mask? I think a WOD w/ hockey mask on should be captured on film.

It's already been done! Well, not in NJ but AZ. I have requested a copy from their archives--they are slow to respond. I actually like working out with mask on. I feel invincible!

Good point Deb. Let me clarify. Goalie mask. A hockey helmet would look just plain ridiculous....and "invincible" NOT "invisible" but see your point. This could be argued both ways but not to kill the blog will keep this short on the other hand there's only 11 blogs so why not (And it's NOT Steve's birthday so you know his multiple daily quips is at a minimum because it's not "all about him")So "invincible" because everyone really wants to see a gladiator fight and you have to take off eventually because if you don't police will shoot you because it looks like youre about to rob a bank. And knowing how much J9 loves it when box members share there is no doubt it is I wearing said mask because I have hair. Everywhere. And wearing it scares small children unless they are redshed members kids who are accustomed to that type of tomfoolery (sp?) like hearing Charlie tell his daughter "behave or I'll throw you in a snowpile". Glad I'm not the only one who parents like that and yes I heard you. So at the end of the day, everyone is happy; I feel invincible and a step away from committing felony, others are entertained (slowing down for car wrecks, imagining attending a gladiator fight, etc., and scaring feeble small children unprepared for a world that really is not a nice place. That is why we train like we do. So when you see a guy with a hockey mask, A) leave bank immediately B)fight like your life depends on it C) Run D) smack on ass and say "good game".
On another note, great job tonight DP and Charlie with the intensity of the WOD. Pat was sheepishly laughing as we nearly ripped the pull-up bar off the wall and (we, ok, I)secretly hoped the person next to me would mentally and physically quit due to the fierce competition going on. I was smoked before we began and can now barely move. Another satisfactory day at the shed. can't wait to do it all again tomorrow. And Charlie, if I was wearing mask I would have scored 202. Great job tonight guys.

Do you also have a cape and tights?
Headband (aka Fred - where IS Fred?) and wristbands? Thigh-high boots?
Put the whole outfit together!

you rocked too Deb!

JR - When they are really bad I have to break out the heavy weapons. Punishments range from 50 lashes with a wet spaghetti noodle to getting zapped with the fartilator (Set to stun) or for particularly egregious behavior, the mother of all weapons: The Flatulator Decimator.

You fart in their face? AWESOME. Do you ever do that after eating sack of white castle burgers? RESPECT.
