Hopper Deck Day
the 6 of diamonds, with a twist:
for time:
50 wall ball - 20# (15#)
50 double unders
50 kettlebell swings - 24kg (16kg)
50 walking lunges (total steps)
50 box jumps
post times to comments:
Today (5/27) is DAY 7 of the burpee challenge. Do your 7 burpees as part of your warm-up today.
If you are buying into the challenge today, you owe 28 burpees.

Think of it as preparation for the next Filthy 50!
Good thing I practiced all those double-unders yesterday.

If anything can bring SvW back - it's the Hopper Deck!
I've heard from Sena +1, but no peeps from SvW!
Posted by: J9 | May 27, 2009 at 05:47 AM
every thing depends on how i do on the double unders
Posted by: Dp | May 27, 2009 at 08:04 AM
I hate double unders more than burpees might have to have the double under challenge next.

FYI-
this WOD is another gift...
it is way too fast, and we are too strong to do this just once, so...
complete the first round, then, if you feel slighted... do a second round at half the reps.
I am going to change the post immediately!

2 days in a row of gifts...
Hope I don't see any "soft" comments, that could make for a nasty June!
Posted by: Pat | May 27, 2009 at 08:50 AM
Two rounds that sounds better. How about a third?

WOD has been changed again...
Get ready to count to 50 five times...
Posted by: J9 | May 27, 2009 at 12:17 PM
This WOD is getting filthy.
Posted by: Randy | May 27, 2009 at 12:53 PM
(Half) filthy it certainly was...
But at least the 50 burpees were not included!
I almost let Pukie finish my box jumps.
I apologize for turning this into a 50-rep WOD, but knew the ShedHeads could handle it.
Rock On!
Also good to hear that BF is alive and even more gimpy! We await your energy when you return to the Shed.
SvW are you not posting in protest of something?
Posted by: J9 | May 27, 2009 at 06:19 PM
no apology nec. J9 - we trust you!
(I like that the shed is a good group & I learn from EVERYone - but I also miss SvW's commentary, tips & helpful hints in the mix)

Tonight's wod was a family affair with Cheryl making her first 'official' workout. Nice job honey!
Posted by: Charlie | May 27, 2009 at 08:40 PM
i think it is obvious SvW is protesting any workouts until he can find a set of pink gloves to go with his pink bag (or purse what ever you call it) I'm going to pick him up a pair tomaorrow the shed is not the same without him.

Got todays workout in, burpees included of course!
Got a little carried away at work, but i'll do my best to keep up appearances. I've missed you all as well, rest assured.
DP, pink gloves only.
Bill, you have the procedure already? Get well soon, looking foreward to your comeback.

it will be intresting to see how these times correlate to the next filthy 50. if we can keep up this pace in the fifty there is going to be some great times.
Posted by: Dp | May 27, 2009 at 10:08 PM
DP - Just can't wait to take that one on again, huh?
Filthy 50 remains one of my all-time favs.
Posted by: J9 | May 27, 2009 at 10:43 PM
Looking forward to doing the next filthy fifty, hopefully without the back pain so I can make up for today's time.
