Happy Memorial Day!
Today's training is in honor of all of the fallen heroes that have made this country, and our hometowns safe. They gave their lives...
...so when this gets tough, remember.
5 rounds for time of:
21 burpees
15 power snatch - 75# (45#)
9 thrusters - 115# (75#)
post times to comments:
Day 5 of 100 days of burpees. Don't worry, your burpees will be accounted for in today's WOD, so if you were on the fence about buying in, do it today!

Burpees done. Need a rest day today.
Did 11 miles of hills Saturday, 26 miles yesterday, 10 of them in the hardest rain I can remember. Back in the shed tomorrow!

I gave in and did the wod anyway. That was a tough one in honor of our Absent Companions. That one was for Grandpa, Uncle Fred in WWII, and the Marines on Fox Hill, Chosin Resevoir, Korea.

Memorial Day MONSTER!
Awesome effort by all that showed up.
If you didn't make it in, the main site WOD is always an option. Also, good thing Thursday is designated as a make-up day, either today or Saturday's WOD can be done then.
Happy Memorial Day!
Hero Tribute is the video on the main site.

This was difficult, and for the record... burpees suck! But, it was worth it knowing how many men and women put their lives on the line having served (and serving) this country. Not to mention the policemen and firefighters who work to keep our communities safe.
This one was for Gary Buro. Gary fought in Desert Storm, and was a police officer for many years before his life was taken in the line of duty. Rest in Peace, Gary, you are missed.
I know a simple "thanks" is not enough to memoralize these men and women, but it is a start.
