"Pookie/Ripped Pants": As Many Rounds As Possible in 20 minutes of:
5 kb swings - M32kg, W24kg
10 push press - M95#, W55#
15 calories - rower
scale weights accordingly
This WOD was originally named by our daughter, who at the time, was reading a book about a pig named Pookie. Matt had forgotten his gym attire that day and trained in his favorite shorts... and ripped them... as you can see in the photo taken on 10/15/08. Click on the date to see original scores.
Post rounds to comments:
Watch today's video on the main site. Kelly Starret addresses midline stability in a way we can all understand. I especially like his mention of the crappy push press, which absolutely applies to today's WOD (and a couple of our athletes).
Let's focus on quality first and speed second!

POOOOOOOOKIE!
This is a tough one!

this was as much fun as i remember it being. i really enjoy this workout and had forgotten how much fun it is.
it was great to train with J9 as usual, although its been a while, on its own a motivating factor.

Thanks for the extra motivation to keep up with your rounds.
Can't wait for the warmer weather, extra daylight and outside space (for walking lunges!) when we can train in larger groups again!
What ever happened to Sena?
